Contact Improvisation Class with Marie Chabert "Building Trust", followed by Jam

In this class we begin by bringing our mind into the body through a guided warm-up focused on spinal awareness and our relationship with gravity. Using simple imagery and key anatomical landmarks, we explore how the spine moves and how the body situates itself in space.

Class description TBC In our regular Friday class we continue our exploration of the practice of Contact Improvisation. Each week we have a theme to focus our practice which includes solo movement, moving meditations, partner and group exercises, games and also moments to check in with each other and reflect on the practice and our experience.
